'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: Season Finale Sees 'Trouble' With Beckett's Past
"Castle" returns to ABC one last time on Monday as season six comes to a close with a finale entitled "For Better or Worse."
The finale has "Castle" fans wondering if Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) will actually get married, or if any surprises are in order in the culmination. Ahead of the highly anticipated event, reports surfaced online offering hints on Beckett and Castle's nuptials.
In Monday's episode, Beckett will realize that she has been married to bartender Rogan O'Leary (Eddie McClinktock) for the past 15 years after a drunken night in Las Vegas, according to ABC. Consequently, she must find O'Leary and officiate the divorce before she can marry Castle. Earlier this year, Katic joked on Twitter that McClinktock will be "causing trouble" during the season, and the promo clip for "For Better or Worse" proves her to be correct.
"Kit Kat, is that you," the rowdy bartender O'Leary greets Beckett in the promo video.
Later on, O'Leary tells Beckett, "I'll sign the dissolution of marriage papers for you, but first, you gotta do something for me."
Meanwhile, fans of the crime drama have speculated over what the final two episodes of season six will have in store, including rumors that Beckett may be killed during an operation that goes horribly wrong. Katic herself pointed to at least one death on the television series with a recent Twitter post.
"S6 finale had us saying goodbye to a number of colleagues today," the actress wrote on the social media site. "Lucky to work with these incredibly talented actors."
And on April 12, Katic added, "Last day of filming. Quite a gift working with this crew & cast. Thankyou everyone for watching! All the best, Stana."
"Castle" airs on ABC Monday at 10 p.m. EST. The synopsis for "For Better or Worse" is as follows: "In the sixth-season finale, Castle and Beckett prepare for their wedding. However, an unwelcome surprise may ruin things, so they embark on a zany adventure, encountering masked men and mad bikers along the way."
