As Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) approach their first wedding anniversary, Rick has been planning a surprise for his wife, while Kate may be thinking of asking for a divorce.
Based on the teaser ABC released for Episode 7, entitled "The Last Seduction," Rick has been asking for Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito's (Jon Huertas) help to make sure his big anniversary plans fall into place.

He also told Kate about how excited he was to spend their anniversary with her. But Kate's reaction may point toward different sentiments on her part, and there will be a scene showing her contemplating divorce.
However, "Castle" showrunners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul have already confirmed Rick and Kate's marriage won't be ending this season, leaving fans shocked that the storyline may point towards the possibility eventually.
In the season finale, rumors have been emerging that the two lead characters will be separating, a plot twist brought about by the show's declining ratings, and the producers' bid to peak audience interest, particularly in the 18-49 age brackett.
Meanwhile, Kate is planning to go undercover with Hayley (Toks Olagundoye) to look into the going-ons in a spa. She and Hayley will likewise be seeking Rick's assistance to track down a murderer.
She will also be renewing her efforts to identify a senator's partner in a powerful drug cartel that's behind the Lockstat code.
"The Last Seduction" episode on "Castle" is due to air on ABC on November 16 at 10pm EST, followed by "Mr. & Mrs. Castle" on November 23, the show's season finale for this fall, which will introduce a new lawyer character played by Kris Polaha.
