"Teen Mom" stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra welcomed a baby girl on Thursday, five years after giving their first daughter up for adoption, which brought up significant memories for the couple.

"IT'S HAPPENING! Here we go, doing this all over again," Baltierra wrote as a caption for a photo of himself holding first daughter Carly. "This is surreal, I'm freakin out a little lol but can't wait to meet my little angel! Thinking a lot about Carly right now. It's bringing me back. Even though I know this time I will actually be taking her home. I love my girls!"

The couple, both Christian, decided to place Carly up for adoption after becoming pregnant as teenagers. They realized they could not adequately provide for Carly and worked with a Christian adoption agency to place her in a good home; Lowell and Baltierra are still in contact with Carly and her adoptive parents.

"Teen Mom 2" star Kailyn Lowry was the first to congratulate the couple on Nova's birth.

"Congratulations to my good friends @CatelynnLowell and @TylerBaltierra cannot wait to meet your new bundle of joy," Lowry tweeted.

Soon Baltierra took to Instagram to share a photo of Lowell and Nova.

"Momma Bear holding our little angel! Can't tell you the feeling of witnessing this. Look at my beautiful bride to be! That woman is beyond strong, caring, and selfless. Couldn't have asked for a better little family," he wrote.

After placing Carly up for adoption, Lowell and Baltierra became advocates for adoption, traveling across the country to encourage teens to wait to have sex and those who are already pregnant to consider adoption. Their story has made them incredibly famous and one of MTV's top couples to watch. They appeared on VH1's "Couples Therapy" in order to work out some of the stresses in their engagement and decided to break the engagement until they felt more secure in their relationship.

On Christmas Day, Baltierra proposed for a second time, and Lowell said yes. They have not announced a wedding date yet and will now turn all of their attention to baby Nova. It remains to be seen how Carly will continue to figure into their family now that Nova has arrived, but fans will stay tuned to see what happens.

For those wanting more information about the couple's story of faith, teen pregnancy, adoption, and overcoming the odds, there is an upcoming book, Conquering Chaos. They join the ranks of other "Teen Mom" stars who decided to tell their own stories: Kailyn Lowry, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham. Maci Bookout, who is pregnant with her second child, is also rumored to be writing her own memoir.
