Charlie Sheen Twins: Supports Denise Richards' Custody

Charlie Sheen has reportedly approved of the court's decision to remove twin boys from their mother Brooke Mueller and place them into Denise Richards' care this week.

Both Richards and Mueller are ex-wives of Sheen, and each has two children with the actor, making the women unlikely friends.

Last week, Mueller and Sheen's sons Max and Bob were placed in the care of Richards.

A rep for Sheen confirmed that Sheen supports Richards in lending a helping hand to Mueller while the socialite is believed to be battling addiction.

"He knows Max and Bob are safe in a stable, loving environment with Denise and the boys' sisters," Larry Solters wrote in a statement, according to the Associated Press. "Charlie will fully cooperate and fully participate in all proceedings."

It is unknown why the four-year-old twin boys were removed from Mueller's care.

Richards was married to Sheen for four years until 2006 and shares daughters Lola and Sam with him. Sheen went on to marry Mueller in 2008, but the pair divorced last year.

This is not the first time Richards has offered to care for Max and Bob. Earlier this year, Mueller reached out to Richards for help with twins for "an indefinite period of time," according to TMZ.

"[Mueller] was diagnosed with exhaustion and dehydration and is now fine and resting at home, that's it," explained Mueller's rep, Steve Honig, reported USA Today.

"Brooke was uncomfortable with the way Adderall was making her behave," said Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter, according to TMZ.

"Brooke continues her lifelong battle with drug addiction by taking these steps to prevent a further drug relapse," the attorney added.

This is not Mueller's first bout with addiction. The socialite has entered rehab 19 times before, according to USA Today.
