Cher discussed live singing reality shows such as "The Voice" during a recent interview, comparing them to bygone television shows such as "The Ed Sullivan Show" and "Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts."

"It's just another vehicle, you know what I mean? Talent is talent," said the singer following her performance on Tuesday night to The Washington Post.

As for her own talent, Cher said she credits luck more for her extreme success as a singer.

"If you have an idea, you tell me because I haven't got a clue," she said of her long-standing career. "I believe that luck has a lot to do with it. There are lots of people who are more talented or whatever, but somehow this has been my path. So this is what I'm doing."

In addition to Cher's return to the stage, "The Voice" season four winner was revealed as 16-year-old Danielle Bradbery.
