'Chicago PD' Season 3 Episode 15 Spoilers: Burgess Catches A Teacher Red-handed
After that intense crossover episode with "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit," NBC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Chicago PD" Season 3 returns this week to tackle a case involving a teacher who gets caught in possession of illegal drug substances. Will his unlikely demeanor save him from going to prison?
According to the synopsis shared at The Futon Critic for the episode called "A Night Owl," Burgess, who is currently assigned at a sobriety checkpoint, happens to stop a respected college professor's car. Digging into the vehicle's trunk, a duffel bag filled with packages of heroin is revealed and Burgess has to detain the person in question.
The promo trailer for the episode shows the man being adamant on his claim that he knows nothing about the parcel in the first place and how it got into his car.
"I have no idea how the drugs got there," the man said. Voight doesn't seem to believe the teacher's claim.
A girl, assumed as either the professor's daughter or one of his students vehemently said that the CPD "got the wrong person."
The developments will prompt Voight to hold off charging the case on the unlikely suspect while Olinsky and Dawson head out to follow up on a lead which they think will lead them to the real perpetrator.
Meanwhile at the District, Roman tells Platt about his desire to become one of the Field Training Officers. Mouse, on the other hand, helps Halstead by setting him up with an off-duty security job for the "attractive owner" of a medical marijuana clinic.
According to Carter Matt, the gig might develop into an interesting romantic storyline for Halstead. However, this will get fans thinking as to how this could affect his relationship with Lindsay.
Find out how these events unfold when "Chicago PD" Season 3 airs this Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
