Chick-fil-A Free Breakfast: Christian Restaurant Voted Best Large Chain
Christian fast food chain Chick-fil-A, which is currently holding a free breakfast promotion, has received rave reviews from the Zagat survey of chain restaurants for 2011.
The survey judges restaurants in 11 categories and ranks Chick-fil-A as the best overall large fast food chain. Zagat ranked Chick-fil-A top for best overall, evaluating its food, facilities and service as superb over other large chains such as In-N-Out Burger, which came in second, Papa Murphy's, which came in third, Panera Bread, which came in fourth, and Chipotle Mexican Grill, which came in fifth.
Chick-fil-A also ranked first in the service category. The chain ranked second in the food and first in the facilities categories, and fourth in the most popular large chain restaurant category.

In the individual categories, Zagat rated Chick-fil-A number one for best fast food, grilled chicken. The chain ranked second for best fast food drive thru, third for best overall value and best breakfast sandwiches, fourth for best fast food milk shakes, and fifth for best fast food, french fries.
Having already built a reputation as a top quality restaurant and business with outstanding values, Chick-fil-A's rankings on the best-of-the best list may not be very surprising.
"For better or for worse, fast food is a major part of American culture, with our average surveyor eating at chain restaurants nearly 11 times per month. It's worth noting that the majority of surveyors are taking their health seriously and are demanding transparency from the industry," Zagat Survey CEO Tim Zagat said in a statement.
Chick-fil-A is currently having a give-away of its breakfast choices from Tuesday until Saturday, Sept. 10.
Customers must visit Chick-fil-aForBreakfast.com to sign up for a pick-up time slot between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., as well as to select a location and which breakfast menu item they want.
Options available include the Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Biscuit, Sausage Biscuit, Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit, Chicken, Egg & Cheese on Sunflower Multigrain Bagel, Chicken Breakfast Burrito, Sausage Breakfast Burrito, and Multigrain Oatmeal.
