Chris Brown Promise to Karrueche Tran for New Year 2015

Sources claimed that in honor of the coming New Year Chris Brown has been making resolutions to his mother and to girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

The on-again off-again couple had a lot of things to say to one another during their public breakup a few weeks back, but now Brown and Tran found themselves reunited just in time for the New Year.

A source claimed that Brown is tired of "destroying" the people around him, most especially his mother and his girlfriend and has changed his outlook on his relationships with them. He was also tired of hurting Tran and promised to stop.

"He realizes that both of these women are vital to his existences and he doesn't want to sabotage them any longer," the source said.

Brown even reportedly told Tran that he was going to man up, called her his queen and said, "You've stolen my heart and no woman has ever treated me the way you have. No one, not even any of my exes compare to you."

At this point, the source felt Tran was calling the shots and dictating the relationship, which was apparently fine with Brown as he was learning to listen to her and what she wanted.

To show how serious he was and how much he wanted Tran in his life, Brown even reportedly bought her a "Christmas pup" as well as two diamond rings.

Tran welcomed the American White Shepherd puppy and she and Brown even took it for a walk after Christmas. At the same time, rumors erupted over an engagement after Tran showed off the rings Brown gave her, though neither of them confirmed or denied that Brown proposed.

Brown's change of heart followed his reconciliation with Tran over Christmas.

The two reportedly ran into one another at the Playhouse nightclub in Los Angeles on Tuesday and took the time to have a private chat where they seemed to have patched up their relationship.
