Chris Brown Reveals Rihanna and Karrueche Tran's First Encounter

Chris Brown recently opened up about the day his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran met his longtime love interest Rihanna.

Brown, 23, recently opened up about the first encounter with his two ex-girlfriends on Shade 45's radio show "Sway In The Morning."

"One time I was overseas ... in Cannes ... I had a girlfriend (Tran) but I was still talking to Rihanna ... (There was) a party on this big boat and my girl was there, and maybe 15 minutes later, Rihanna showed up," Brown recalled to radio host Sway Calloway. "But I'm on the boat like, 'Oh, (expletive), what am I gonna do right now?'"

However, Brown admitted that both women remained civil with one another during their first meeting.

"But you know what? They were cool. They spoke to each other and I was like, 'Woah,'" Brown told Calloway. "I was just like, 'Please, please, please (don't start a scene),' but honestly that was the first time I can say I knew they loved me because they were classy."

Although Brown broke things off with Tran last October to publicly patch things up with Rihanna, he insisted that he and his model ex-girlfriend are still on good terms.

"We're cool man. I wish it could be better because of obvious reasons, but I think it's better to see her happy and successful," Brown told Calloway. "She still does the clothing line with me, so it's still a camaraderie between us."

However, Tran made it clear that she is not expecting to become friends with Rihanna anytime soon. Earlier this year the clothing designer said that while she is a mature individual, it may be hard to face Rihanna and Brown together when the time comes.

"For everybody, emotionally, that would just be way too much. I'm a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I'd do it," Tran told Vibe magazine earlier this year. "I'm a mature person. I can work it out but that would be a lot. Yeah, it would be a lot."
