Chris Brown's Mental Health Issues Revealed

Chris Brown is working on himself in rehab and now reports are detailing exactly what some of his mental health issues may be.

Brown, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter, was ordered by a Los Angeles judge to serve additional time in the facility where he was working on his behavioral issues for three months. Now, TMZ is reporting the root of some of his behavioral issues, according to legal documents obtained by the publication.

"Mr. Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD," a letter from Brown's treatment facility states, according to TMZ.

Brown is dealing with his issues by doing relaxation exercises and is no longer self medicating on marijuana, which is proven by his ability to pass a drug test, the letter states. Brown reportedly wakes up at 5 a.m. each day and following his community service obligations stemming from his probation sentencing, TMZ states.

While the question of Brown going to jail for violating his probation still remains, the judge said the singer must be tried in Washington D.C. for an assault charge. The charge stems from the singer being accused of breaking the nose of Parker Isaac Adams, 20, who allegedly attempted to sneak into a photograph that Brown was taking with two women last year, according to E! News reports.

If the assault did indeed occur, Brown would have violated the probation that he was given after assaulting ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna in 2009. Since that assault, Brown has made headlines for allegedly engaging in other physical altercations including those with fellow entertainers Frank Ocean and Drake.

However, Brown's current probation report says he "looks forward to staying out of trouble," according to CNN.
