Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine Need to 'Get Over' Feud, Says Cee Lo Green
The growing feud between co-stars Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, mentors on NBC's "The Voice" needs to stop, says colleague Cee Lo Green. Both need to put aside their differences and "get over" it, he told Us Weekly.
"It's getting a little old and a little inconvenient for everyone," the mentor noted. "Adam hasn't come to me and spoken to me [about his issues] and neither has Christina, but whatever it is, I'm hoping that we can get over it. It's not something we should carry over into season three. I want the integrity of the show intact."
Aguilera and Levine, both stars in their own right, have had a clash of egos since the show began. The New York Post reported that Levine has a problem with Aguilera being paid $225,000 per episode, while he only makes $75,000. Yet Levine's rep told the paper: "This is absolutely false. Adam loves Christina, and they just recorded a song together."

For her part, Aguilera told Jay Leno that Levine is like her "brother - or sister." That hasn't stopped the two from bickering throughout the season. On Monday night's episode, Aguilera criticized one of Levine's mentees, saying, "The lyrical connotation was a little derogatory toward women, but overall it was good fun."
Levine responded by defending the choice before ripping off a button-up shirt and exposing a T-shirt with the words "Team X-Tina" on it. The shirt is a parody of those being made by fans, with either "Team X-Tina" or "Team Levine" on them. While the feud makes for good TV, it is taking a toll on other cast members.
"It's frustrating in the same way when you're just with your family on Thanksgiving, and the conversation over Monopoly gets heightened for a second- I'm looking at my sister going, 'Is my blood really boiling over the fact that you have Park Place?' Then it goes away," noted the show's host, Carson Daly.
