A North Carolina man has taken his anger out on his 15-year-old daughter by shooting her laptop computer repeatedly with a .45 pistol after the dared to complain about her chores on social networking site Facebook.

Tommy Jordan form Albemarle, N.C. punished his daughter Hannah for complaining about her daily chores after she voiced them on Facebook. In his public lesson to Hannah in respecting one's elders, Jordan shot nine rounds into the laptop computer.

"That right there is your laptop," said Jordan in the YouTube video, pointing the camera at the device lying on the ground outside. "This right here is my .45," he says, moving his gun into the scene.

The video, titled "Facebook Parenting: For the Troubled Teen," is in honor of his rebellious teenage daughter.

Hannah had made the posts to the social media site expecting her privacy settings to prevent her parents from viewing her status updates. Among her grievances, Hannah said her parents overworked her without providing pay.

Jordan denounces his daughter's claims as being ridiculous, and points out that Hannah has an easy life compared to his childhood. After about seven minutes of scolding his daughter, he completes the lesson by shooting at the laptop.

"Oh yeah, and after that comment you made about your mom, your mom told me to be sure I put one in there for her … So that one's from her," said Jordan in between shots.

"Maybe a few kids can take something away from this," he explains in the description of the video posted to YouTube. "If you're so disrespectful to your parents and yourself as to post this kind of thing on Facebook, you're deserving of some tough love."

The video, posted just days ago, has already received 1.5 million views. Jordan reportedly is pleased with the success of his post, telling Fox News that he and his daughter laughed about the video going viral, but expressed one regret.

"I was trying to be civil in my message," said the father. "I slipped in a that and said a word I shouldn't have. I deserve a little backlash for that, no doubt."
