'Dance Moms' News: Abby Lee Miller to Deal with Fraud Charges

"Dance Moms" star Abby Lee Miller will deal with the fraud charges slapped against her while trying to continue running her dance studio, based on the sneak peek for season 6.

A new trailer for "Dance Moms" season 6 shows Abby Lee Miller facing her fraud case, at the same time trying to manage the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) and maintaining relations with the mothers of her young dancers. At least one dancer might also walk on from the dance studio, according to Headlines & Global News (HNGN).

In the sneak peek video, Miller is seen giving her dancers a pep talk. She tells them that they need to have more passion and hunger for the win. Maddie Ziegler and Miller's new dance troup are also seen in the clip. But the preview also hints that all of her students may abandon the ALDC studio and transfer to another, the Inquisitr reports.

Dancer Brynn Rumfallo is back in the junior competition team, but veteran mom Jill Vertes yells at Miller and tells her she never taught the kid anything. In another scene, one mom pushes the camera away while leaving the ALDC with her daughter. Ziegler's mother, Melissa Gisoni, is also seen threatening to punch someone, the report details.

In addition to the drama in the studio, the preview shows Miller's legal troubles adding to the tension. Miller has been charged with 20 counts of fraud for alleged false bankruptcy declarations and concealment of bankruptcy assets. If proven guilty, she could be imprisoned for up to five years and/or be fined $250,000.

"My hair is in rollers, I don't have a bra on and I have huge legal issues going on," HNGN quotes Miller's statement in the trailer. "I'm finished."

Moreover, Miller will be absent from some parts of season 6 due to a beef with the show's producers. The new trailer shows that the next installment of the reality show will be full of drama and tension.

"Dance Moms" season 6 will premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
