'Dancing With The Stars' Season Premiere Tonight (VIDEO)

The new cast of "Dancing With the Stars" season 16 has already been introduced, but viewers have yet to see the celebrities on the dance floor.

This season kicks off on Monday and includes some of today's best-known figures who will compete alongside professional dancers for the Mirroball trophy.

Season 16's cast and their partners include "American Idol" alum and country music singer Kellie Pickler who will be dancing with former "DWTS" champion Derek Hough.

"I've never ballroom danced before," said 26-year-old Pickler, according to Us Magazine. "We're very serious about this competition, because we're going to take that shiny ball back to Nashville, Tennessee."

Furthermore, "The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe has agreed to appear on the television series after having just wrapped up his run as ABC's bachelor. The former fitness model will be dancing with Peta Murgatroyd.

We have a good time during rehearsal but at the same time she's teaching me," Lowe said of he and his partner during a video interview with E! News. Watch the clip here.

Next, Wynonna Judd will be dancing with "DWTS" longtime pro Tony Dovoloni, while D.L. Hughes' partner was announced as famed dancer Cheryl Burke.

The rest of the cast and their partners include NFL star Jacoby Jones who is paired with Karina Smirnoff, reality television star Lisa Vanderpump who is paired with "DWTS" newcomer Gleb Savchenko, all while comedian Andy Dick is paired with another "DWTS" newcomer Shara Burgess.

"DWTS" has also welcomed new dancer Lindsay Arnold, who will dance with Victor Ortiz. Disney's Zendaya is paired with Val Chmerkovski, while Aly Raisman is set to dance with Mark Ballas.

Actor Ingo Rademacher is paired with former "DWTS" champ Kym Johnson, Kellie Pickler will dance with Derek Hough, and lastly, Dorothy Hamill is set to take the dance floor alongside pro dancer Tristan MacManus.

As the season premiere is scheduled to kick off on ABC Monday, fans have taken to Twitter with wishes for their favorite contestants.

"So excited to see @Aly_Raisman on Dancing with the Stars tonight," wrote Paige.

Erin posted, "My obsession with Dancing with the Stars begins tonight & for the rest of the season! Excited to see @SeanLowe09 on tv again!"

"Oh Yeah, dancing with the stars starts again tonight," wrote Brenda. "Can't wait to see @derekhough"

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet will return for the 16th season, which will likely see many of today's hottest musical acts as guest performers.

"DWTS" airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST.

The reality television series first aired in 2005 and has captured America's interest with stiff competition and quality entertainment.

In the past, stars such as Julianne Hough, Kristie Alley, Maria Menounos, Pamela Anderson, and Jennifer Grey have appeared on "DWTS."

Furthermore, "DWTS" champions include "Bachelorette" star Trista Sutter, Evander Holyfield, Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Harry Hamlin, as well as the show's host, Burke-Charvet, among many others.
