'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Trailer Video No. 2 Released: Humans and Apes on the Brink of War (WATCH)
The "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" trailer no. 2 video was released Thursday showing more of the plot of the sequel to the 2011 film "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." In it, much more of the story is revealed as the last of humanity struggles against the ever-growing army of apes.
The "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" trailer no. 2 video shows the leader of the apes, Caesar, in the same sophisticated motion capture technology as the first film. Caesar's speaking abilities seemed to have improved, and the apes are learning to write as well 10 years after their initial conflict with human beings.
The sequel takes place after the Simian virus has wiped out 90 percent of humanity, and after that, war killed even more people. Dreyfus (Gary Oldman) seems to be on the side of humans, reminding them that survival is the most important thing.

"You all know what we're up against. It took us four years fighting that virus, but we are survivors," says Dreyfus.
Australian actor Jason Clarke also appears taking on the role of Malcolm, the sole liaison between the apes and the humans. On the brink of all out war, he is trying his best to keep the peace, but it seems to be a mission doomed from the start.
"Apes. Together. Strong!" Caesar the ape bellows. "War has already begun."
"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" also features Andy Serkis as Caesar, Keri Russell and Kodi Smit-McPhee. The film will be released across the U.S. July 11, and a third installment of the "Apes" franchise, "Planet of the Apes," is in the works for July 29, 2016.
