'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Spoilers: Rip Hunter to Take Down Vandal Savage
Details about the upcoming episode of "DC's Legend of Tomorrow" were recently revealed.
A teaser for the upcoming episode of the new DC series was released. It was revealed that the next episode of the series will have Rip Hunter and his team heading into the 1980s, in order to break into the Pentagon. However, they are expected to experience some challenges along the way. The episode will be featuring guest star Casper Crump as the role of Vandal Savage. It was stated that during this time, many nuclear scientists will begin disappearing.
The executive producer of the series, Phil Klemmer, was seen in the featurette telling fans about what to expect in the episode to come. He stated, "The file we steal from the Pentagon tells us Vandal Savage has, in fact, defected at the height of the Cold War, and we learn he is working on something called Project Svarog. It seems to be something to do with some sort of nuclear weapon, and — when we use Gideon to check the timeline — we realize that the consequences of us having flushed Vandal out of the United States and into the arms of Mother Russa has basically changed the course of the Cold War."

Titled "White Knight," the upcoming episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" will see Rip Hunter gathering several heroes and villains, in order to keep Vandal Savage from obliterating the universe.
Aside from Caster Crump, another guest star is expected to grace the small screens. It was reported that Stephanie Corneliussen, from "Mr. Robot", will be joining the cast. She will be taking the role of a Soviet scientist named Valentina Vostock. Fans can expect that Brandon Routh's character Ray will be seen trying to pursue her.
"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" is expected to air on The CW every Thursday nights.
