'Deadpool' Spoilers: Valentine's Day Promos Revealed

With the upcoming film "Deadpool" expected to come out soon, fans have been receiving many teasers from the film's marketing team.

The previous year ended with many surprises from the film, revealing a "12 Days of Deadpool" series that featured new promotional materials for 12 days straight.

However, it seems as though their witty marketing stunts are not over yet. The marketing team of "Deadpool" recently released some Valentine's Day promo for the film. It featured a series of parody posters that seemed to be making fun of Nicholas Sparks films. It featured Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson, played by Ryan Reynolds, with his supposed love interest in the upcoming film, played by Morena Baccarin.

Apart from the teasers, the director of the film also shared some hints on what the story will bring to the big screen. According to Slash Film, He stated, "I think there are some certain geographical clues in our story in that everybody knows that the X-Men live in upstate New York-ish and so we can't be too far away. But the idea was that it should look like a sh---- place because you want to set Deadpool and his world apart as something different: grittier, nastier, you know, more like Daredevil where it's down in the streets where he's dealing with small-time sh-- that the X-Men and their shiny hi-tech world don't deal with."

In addition, a recent trailer also revealed that another character will be making an appearance in the film. It was stated that "Marrow" will be featured in "Deadpool," as the trailer showed that those responsible for "Deadpool's" condition were already experimenting on someone else. Her appearance could then feature the idea of Weapon X, which is what connects the two of them together, as fans of the comic series would know.

"Deadpool" will be released in theaters this Feb. 14.
