Denise Richards Responds to Charlie Sheen's Tweets: 'Our Kids Don't Need to be Privy to This'

Actress Denise Richards has been pushed to the limit by ex-husband Charlie Sheen's antics and finally responded to his vulgar tweets. Richards cited their children as a reason for Sheen to stop spreading hate and ranting online.

"@charliesheen U done ranting? Keep it classy dude. Our kids don't need to be privy to this, U are welcome 2 spend xmas w/us Hope you still come (sic)," Richards tweeted.

The drama began when Sheen exploded after allegedly being left out of Richards' Christmas plans with their children, Sam and Lola. Not only did he take to Twitter to express his outrage, he also allegedly sent Richards text messages accusing her of purposely keeping the children away from him during the holidays.

"@charliesheen u were & are welcome 2 see them," Richards tweeted. "I never asked 4 your plane. We love u. Please 4 our kids stop this," she added. "I don't know why he feels the need to do this publicly. I don't keep him away from our kids," she later responded to a follower on Twitter.

One of the tweets that upset Richards involved a reference to the "Duck Dynasty" scandal that broke last week.

"I came up with a PERFECT holiday idea!" Sheen tweeted. "Denise and Phil Robertson should get married! Then he can practice the bestiality he hates!"

Sheen wound up spending Christmas with his girlfriend, adult film star Brett Rossi. Their relationship could be straining the good relationship he once had with Richards, who until recently, had custody of Sheen's children with Brooke Mueller. Richards cared for the children until she told the court that the young boys were harming members of her own family and she simply couldn't handle them anymore.

Not long after, Sheen began acting out against Richards, and Mueller. He posted photos of a wedding gift he and Richards received completely destroyed.

"The lie is over," he tweeted along with the photo. "I'm done being treated like a relative with a one-way ticket. #DuhNeese."
