Destiny's Child Singer Latavia Roberson Says 'God Never Makes Mistakes' After Miscarriage
Even though former Destiny's Child singer Latavia Roberson suffered a miscarriage that would leave any women emotionally devastated, she is trusting in God's plan for her life.
After news broke that the 34-year-old singer lost her daughter, she revealed that God didn't make a mistake.
"I do truly appreciate every prayer and everything positive that was sent my way. I was, in fact, in the hospital," she wrote on Instagram earlier this week. "And during that time, unfortunately, I lost my daughter but MY GOD never makes mistakes. Thank you for your ongoing prayers! I know my angel is watching over our family! I love you all."

Back in July, Roberson took to Instagram to thank her supporters and respond to reports of her critical medical status after losing her child. Still, she insisted that God's will was being done.
"From the bottom of my heart I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and positive energy, I have felt every heartfelt wish more than you know! Although initial reports of me 'fighting for my life' weren't completely accurate, I was in fact in critical medical condition," Roberson wrote on Instagram. "While there is more to this story, I sincerely appreciate you my loves for your support, and most importantly for respecting the privacy of my family and I during this time. God restores, HIS will is done."
The singer and budding actress has previously given God glory on various occasions, including her 2014 stint on the show "R&B Divas: Atlanta."
"The opportunity came to me so organically. There were so many green lights," Roberson told S2S magazine of her stint on the TV One reality television show. "I just felt like it was a God thing. It just felt right for me."
Despite some of the tensions that were previously showcased on the reality television series, Roberson was grateful for getting work outside of the wildly successful group Destiny's Child.
"I've been there before, and I love the fans and all of that and at the end of the day, it feels good to be working again," Roberson said. "I embrace that fame with open arms."
When speaking to S2S magazine three years ago, the singer revealed that she had a desire to share her testimony in the form of a memoir.
"I've heard things about me and I've heard rumors about myself. I do not mind being someone who will open up my life to any fans that I have about where I've really been," she told S2S magazine. "I've been through some serious things. It's a testimony."
