Dottie Sandusky Sticking to Vows or Equally to Blame in Sex Scandal?
Dottie Sandusky's decision to stand by her husband has angered critics.
She is doing so despite mounting evidence that Jerry Sandusky sexually abused several children.
The wife of accused pedophile Jerry Sandusky has made it clear in a statement that she believes the former Penn State coach is innocent.

"I have been shocked and dismayed by the allegations made against Jerry," Dottie Sandusky said.
She went on to say, "...particularly the most recent one that a now young man has said he was kept in our basement during visits and screamed for help as Jerry assaulted him while I was in our home and didn’t respond to his cries for help."
Critics have expressed their thoughts on Twitter, with some accusing Dottie of attempting to sweep her husband's issues under the rug and suggesting she is equally as guilty as her husband.
"Well, looks like Dottie Sandusky has #CindyAnthony disease...#Denial” Yes indeed. So, so sad. Hope she wakes up 2 reality soon," Ty Neomiah tweeted.
"Dottie Sandusky claims innocence and false accusations. Shut it sister, you know what he did--and you did nothing. You are as vile as he is," Toni Doctor tweeted.
Jerry Sandusky's sexual molestation charges have undoubtedly sparked nationwide criticism and outrage.
The father of six faces serious charges after 10 young men claimed that they were sexually molested by the 67-year-old man.
The most recent accuser insinuated that Dottie was aware her husband was molesting him because it was taking place in the couple's home.
These allegations prompted Dottie to respond, directly addressing the alarming claims.
“As the mother of six children, I have been devastated by these accusations. I am also angry about these false accusations that such a terrible incident ever occurred in my home," she said in the statement.
"I am so sad anyone would make such a terrible accusation which is absolutely untrue. We don’t know why these young men have made these false accusations, but we want everyone to know they are untrue," she continued.
While it may be easy for critical women to assume that, if they were in the same position, the option of leaving would be simple, others can often only help but consider the marriage vows they took.
Remembering “for better or wors” can often complicate the decision to leave, even for the strongest of women.
The Rev. Dr. Acland G. Quarrie of Bronxwood International Church Of God in New York offered advice for both wives of accused and convicted pedophiles.
Although the pastor condemned pedophiles, he told The Christian Post that the wives should try and adopt what he calls “affectionate patience.”
Rather than simply running away from the marriage, the pastor advised wives to at least try and seek help for their troubled spouse before making any decisions.
"These men don't love their wives. They don't take marriage seriously, they simply don't care," he told CP.
The pastor said he could not understand how these men could jeopardize their beautiful wives for young boys, and insisted they are "sick and need help."
Referring to the wives of pedophiles the pastor explained, "(women) are among the best creations that God has made, unfortunately some men don't appreciate them," Quarrie told CP.
