Meanwhile, Lady Edith is facing a crossroads and she may decide to stay in Downton or follow her heart and go back to London. Gregson will also tell her that he finds himself always thinking about her, the report details.

Another shocker awaits "Downton Abbey" fans mid season. Death may be lurking ahead for one of the members of the Crawley family. While the gruesome death of Mary's partner was unforgettable, the upcoming incident is bound to also break the hearts of the show's viewers.

Mosely and Baxter, on the other hand, will have a gentle chemistry budding between them. In the last season, the two have been carefully treading around each other, but their feelings will start to blossom this season, albeit very slowly.
