Drake's 'Views From the 6' to Release in April

Following the debut of his newest single "Summer Sixteen" yesterday on Beats 1, Drake is looking to launch the much-awaited "Views From the 6" album this April, and even with about three months more to go, he is already gaining a lot of praise.

It has been over a year since Drake announced the new album that's supposed to follow up on "Nothing Was the Same," but it seems he had to put more time and thought into the newest album that fans are looking to purchase soon.

According to the XXL Mag, the new single doesn't only dig into the usual stuff that rappers talk about in their songs, but what's interesting is his journey toward "vengeance." The song addressed some of the issues that fans have been wanting to know more about such as if he has a bigger pool than Kanye West.

The rapper clarified that he's not saying West's pool isn't nice. He's just saying his pool is bigger — a statement that could put him in line with other rappers who are butting heads with the wealth of Kim Kardashian's husband.

Aside from West, President Barak Obama also got his name embedded in "Summer Sixteen." It seems as if Drake has something bitter going on as his lyrics go "Tell Obama that my verses are like the whips that he in / They bulletproof." Apparently, he has not yet moved on after Obama stated that his favorite 2015 song was Kendrick Lamar's "How Much a Dollar Cost."

Earlier this month, Drake told his fans to calm down and be assured that the team is working hard on the album, and while there is no specific date of release, fans should believe him when he says it will come in April.

Drake is a 29-year-old rapper who was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and has bagged several BET Awards, Juno Awards, and a Grammy Award. He testified of having lived both lives as a wealthy man and a poor man, but used his difficulties as a challenge to become the star that he is today.
