Drew Barrymore Shows Off Baby Olive in New Photos, Confesses to Being Nervous About Motherhood
Drew Barrymore has shown off her baby Olive as she confessed to be nervous about a number of issues surrounding motherhood.
The actress gave birth to Olive in September, and many had commented over recent months how photos of Barrymore with her daughter showed her to be a natural mother, looking comfortable and easy in the pictures.
However, she has now revealed in an interview that she was not as at ease with everything as she made out in the photos, and just like any mother had her doubts and insecurities about how best to fall into her new motherhood role.

Speaking to People magazine this month, Barrymore has said, "I couldn't eat or sleep for two weeks, I was just so nervous! You have the highest highs and yet you're facing the biggest fear of, 'How do I keep someone alive?'"
She of course had the support of her new husband Will Kopelman, and together have been learning the ropes of parenthood over the past few months.
The pair, though seem like the stereotypical doting parents. The Hollywood actress told the magazine, "It's like the biggest crush I've ever had in my life!"
She also explained, "It just makes me so emotional because it's like a miracle."
Just last week Barrymore appeared on Ellen, and explained how she and her husband chose the name Olive for their daughter. She explained, "I was three months pregnant and they said your baby is the size of an olive, and that was it. We never looked back."
Earlier this year the actress and her husband made the big announcement that their baby had arrived, releasing a statement to People at the time, saying, "We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born, Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives."
The couple has been together since 2011 and married this past June. Barrymore was already pregnant with baby Olive at the ceremony.
"I can't wait until I have my children," she told Haute Living. "I just want to build fun, great things for my family."
