Elizabeth Warren Refutes GOP's 'Class Warfare' Claims (VIDEO)
Elizabeth Warren, who is running for the Massachusetts Senate seat, is the latest politician to refute the class warfare statement made by the GOP.
The former White House financial reform adviser’s comments appear in footage taken from an event in Andover, Massachusetts last month. In the video, Warren stands behind President Obama's plan to increase taxes on those with incomes higher than $1 million a year.
The video was uploaded Sunday and has received over 100,000 views on YouTube. In the video, she discussed the debt crisis and fair taxation. Applause fills the room after she makes the comment, “There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own, nobody."

Outspoken on big spenders and Wall Street, Warren also states in the video, "The pressures on middle class families are worse than ever, but it is the big corporations that get their way in Washington.”
Warren made her mark in politics when she became the chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel. She's been visiting various homes throughout Massachusetts discussing issues such as the video taken in Andover.
She announced Wednesday her run for the US Senate against Republican incumbent Sen. Scott Brown. Videos will be put on her campaign website with Warren discussing important issues but she will not make any formal statements or speeches.
She's already been charge by the head of Massachusetts Republican Party because Harvard University did not let her go as a professor even as she begins her campaign. But candidates are not ordered to resign from employment if they are running for a position. The guidelines, however, bar candidates from using university resources.
Warren’s platform has been to come across as an ordinary American as she is not hesitant to let people know that she is a 62-year-old mother and grandmother. She comes from a family of a janitor and store clerk.
In a recent poll conducted by Boston Magazine, Warren lags behind Brown by nine points.
