'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Lucious and Cookie to Team Up to Save Hakeem from Kidnappers

"Empire" season 2's fifth episode saw the Lyon family temporarily set aside their differences for Andre's baptism, but they may have to continue sticking together for a bit longer to save their family from danger.

In episode 5 of "Empire" season 2, Lucious took the time and effort to see Andre being baptized. In the next episode titled "A High Hope for a Low Heaven," Hakeem will be kidnapped and Lucious and Cookie will be forced to team up to find and save their son, according to Design & Trend.

Based on the official plot synopsis for the next "Empire" episode, Lucious and Cookie will once again forget their differences to preserve their family's safety. Jamal will also do his best to return to the studio and make his mark as more than just a gay artist. Hakeem, on the other hand, will have a bit of difficulty in acting like a man, the report relays.

In addition, Andre will try to close down an Empire division. However, he will find a disciple while sifting through Lucious' Gutter Life records.

In Nov. 11's episode titled "True Love Never," Andre will have a hard time balancing the different aspects of his life. He will struggle to balance his faith with his career, Carter Matt reports.

Lucious will also start envisioning Empire's rise from a simple record label to a global brand. He will strike a partnership deal with Jago (Patrick Mulvey), who is into the music streaming business.

Meanwhile, Hakeem will start developing Laura's career and work to bring her to stardom. Cookie, on the other hand, will focus on launching the Lyon Dynasty's television career.

Although "True Love Never" is set to air on Nov. 11, the schedule of the next Empire episodes could change, depending on the outcome of the World Series. "A High Hope for a Low Heaven" airs on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
