Erica Campbell is more than equipped to give advice about balancing work and home life. As a wife, mother, Grammy Award-winning gospel singer and reality TV star — as well as the first lady of the California Worship Center church — she successfully juggles quite a few roles.

"You just take one day at a time. It is a lot, but I don't feel overwhelmed," the "Help" singer revealed to The Christian Post. "I feel like I'm busy, but if God gives you the vision, He will give you the provision to handle it. So I have a great staff of people. I don't do anything in my own strength or by myself."

While Campbell gives credit to the people who assist her, the wife and mother of three stresses the importance of balancing her home and work life in a simple way.

"At some point you shut it all off and I'm just a mommy and Warren's wife. I make the best of it and take it one day at a time," she said. "I don't think there's a specific ABC or 1,2,3 for how to manage my life."

However, the gospel star stressed the importance of having peace throughout her day in order to maintain balance.

"You literally have to make sure that peace is always present. And peace is not the absence of trouble, it's the presence of Jesus Christ," she revealed. "So I wake up in the morning and I go, 'Jesus be with me today in every phone call, in every issue, in every problem, in every triumph ... be with me in every moment so I handle it right.'"

At times things may seem overwhelming, but Campbell believes those moments can often be blessings in disguise.

"Sometimes you can be in the middle of a blessing and look at it as a problem. Sometimes when God opens a lot of doors and you have a lot going on, it's easy to go, 'This is too much,'" she said. "My thought is, I didn't open these doors. God did. So I say, 'God, give me the ability to enjoy it and still be effective at my job.'"

Earlier this year, Erica and her husband Warryn Campbell III decided to become church leaders after hosting Bible studies in hotel rooms. In 2014, the songstress spoke about their new church on "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show."

"Warryn is real serious about ministry and wants to make sure that, above all, it is God-centered," she previously said on the show. "We kind of take the approach of [reaching] the broken, wounded people who have kind of been jaded by church and don't want to go no more."

Campbell, who has also appeared with her sister Tina on the hit WE tv show "Mary Mary," spoke to CP last year about how her family was called to ministry when she was young.

"My family was kind of called to ministry before the TV show," she said. "Even with my parents we were always out front for something. We had to know and hear and understand at a young age."

No matter how large the workload, the singer said she is grateful for her job that allows her to bring people to Christ.

"I really love Jesus and I'm really, really grateful for what I do. I don't take it lightly," she told CP. " I just hope [people] hear and see my heart in the things that I say and the music that I sing. The real purpose is to reach people for Jesus."
