Erica Campbell's debut solo album "Help" has claimed a top spot on the Billboard Gospel Albums charts for the consecutive week in a row.

Campbell, 42, has Grammy, AMA, ASCAP and Image awards among others as a member of Mary Mary. Now she is enjoying the fruits of her labor as "Help" has become a chart topping album.

"To God be the Glory," she tweeted. "HELP will spend its second week at #1 on @billboard Gospel Album chart! #GetHelpNow."

Aside from topping the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart, Erica's MyBlock/eOne album debuted at number six on Billboard's Top 200 last week. While her single "A Little More Jesus" received a Grammy nomination, her new single "Help" featuring Christian rapper Lecrae is number seven on the Gospel Radio chart.

Erica previously spoke to The Christian Post about how her album can touch people from all walks of life, even those who may not prefer gospel music.

"Everybody needs help whether you are in jail, whether you are a single mom who doesn't know God and thinks that you're in it alone, 'Help' can help you," she told The Christian Post. "There's something for everybody. I think sometimes even nonbelievers have to acknowledge there has to be somebody greater than me that's helping me, because there are blessings all around us and if we open our eyes and pay attention we'll see it whether we grew up in church or not."

In fact, it is Erica's hope that people who may not identify with church can listen to the album.

"I am really hoping it reaches the unchurched people. I'm so grateful for the believers who support and listen but I'm so excited for the people who are learning about Jesus through my music," Erica told CP. "Wanting to know who he is because of my music. That is just such a huge blessing."
