Eulogy for 6-Year-Old: Noah Pozner Survived by Twin After Sandy Hook Shooting

The first funerals for the victims of the Sandy Hook elementary school were held on Monday. One eulogy for 6-year-old Noah Pozner, was particularly heart-wrenching.

The eulogy, written by Noah's uncle Alexis Haller of Woodinville, Wash. provides some of the first insight into the lives that were taken on Friday morning when Adam Lanza, 20, opened fire at the elementary school. The eulogy was provided by the Associated Press.

The story paints a picture of the typical little boy who liked to read and play video games. He was "smart" and "funny," said his uncle, but also a little "mischevious."

"He liked to tell his sisters that he worked in a taco factory; when they asked him how he got to work, he would give them a funny look as if to say he knew something that they didn't," Haller wrote.

His uncle also revealed that Noah had been looking forward to reading a book that he had recently bought at a book fair and going to a party that was to take place that day after the shooting. Noah also had a twin.

"Noah loved his family dearly, especially his mom, his dad, his big sisters Danielle and Sophia, his big brother Michael, and his dear twin Arielle," Haller wrote. "He called Arielle his best friend, and she was- and always had been."

Noah was one of 20 children who were killed along with six other adults before Adam Lanza turned the gun and took his own life. Noah's family was left with memories and the thoughts of what could have been.

"If Noah had not been taken from us, he would have become a great man," his uncle said. "He would been a wonderful husband and a loving father. He would have been a backbone of our family for years to come. His loss, and our loss, are deep indeed."
