Eva Longoria Dating Ernesto Arguello: Longoria Confirms Relationship, Meets the Family
Eva Longoria is officially dating Ernesto Arguello, a former contestant on "Ready for Love." The two were rumored to have been dating for some time, but Longoria just now confirmed the news.
"I think that's why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends," Longoria told People magazine.
Arguello was one of three bachelors selected to appear on Longoria's reality TV show, "Ready for Love." He chose former Miss USA Shandi Finnessey, but the relationship did not last long, and Arguello always maintained a close friendship with Longoria.

"I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!" Longoria joked.
Things might be getting serious for the couple; Longoria and Arguello recently went to Nicaragua, where he introduced her to his entire family. Longoria has been married twice, to Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004 and Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010. Arguello, however, has never been married but wanted to find a spouse on the TV show.
"Eva and Ernesto are a perfect match," a friend told People. "They both speak Spanish, have the same religion, and the same the cultural background. Their friendship and their similar philanthropic interests laid the foundation for their new romance. They're very much in love."
"Ready for Love" was Longoria's brainchild for NBC but did not garner high ratings. It featured three bachelors, including Arguello, who were looking to find that one person to settle down with. Each week they went on dates that were later evaluated by three matchmakers: Amber Kelleher-Andrews, Tracy McMillan, and Matthew Hussey.
The show also featured Bill and Giuliana Rancic as hosts providing colorful commentary about the contestants, the women they chose, and the dates themselves. In the end, each bachelor chose one woman to be with, and bachelor Tim Lopez revealed in May that he was still with the woman he chose and that they were still "in love."
Contestant Ben Patton is dating former "Bachelor" contestant Jamie Otis. Patton proposed to Angela Zapotek on "Ready for Love" but things didn't work out and the relationship ended before the finale aired.
Now that Arguello is dating Longoria, it seems that all three bachelors finally found love after appearing on the now-canceled "Ready for Love."
