Evelyn Lozada's Mother Speaks About Daughter's Abusive Relationship
Evelyn Lozada's mother is speaking out about the "Basketball Wives" star and any hope for her estranged marriage to NFL free agent Chad Johnson after he allegedly headbutted her on Aug. 11.
Silvia Ferrer, Lozada's mother, recently spoke to Celebuzz to confirm that her daughter would never return to an abusive relationship.
"I don't think they're going to get back together at all," Ferrer told Celebuzz. "It's done. There's no way she would ever go back to an abusive partner."

Although Ferrer said 34-year-old Johnson has tried contacting her daughter, she revealed that Lozada has not spoken to him since their domestic dispute.
"[Chad] has tried, but they're not communicating at all," Ferrer said.
Although some people may speculate about Lozada's account of what happened when a domestic dispute took place with Johnson, Ferrer said she believes her daughter's story.
"She's not lying," Ferrer told Celebuzz. "This happened, he lost control. It should never have gotten to that point. She went into the marriage in love with him, and unfortunately this happened."
Since the domestic dispute in which Johnson allegedly headbutted Lozada, the pair lost their joint reality television show "Ev and Ocho," while the football player lost endorsements along with his spot on the Miami Dolphins roster. However, the 34-year-old NFL free agent took responsibility for the situation that took place with him and 36-year-old Lozada.
"I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death," Johnson said a the statement on his website. "I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies."
