Family Feud Zombie Question: 'Black Zombies' Answer Blasted for Being Racist (VIDEO)

A Family Feud zombie comment has sparked a wave of laughter and outrage across the Internet on Wednesday, after a recent episode saw one contestant give the most bizarre answer that even had host Steven Harvey lost for words.

When asked, "Name something you know about zombies," contestant Christie quickly buzzed in and answered, "Black."

Harvey looked in shock, as the audience as well as other contestants folded over in laughter. Christie herself immediately realized she had said something bizarre, and made an awkward face, trying to laugh it off.

Harvey, although obviously taken aback, quickly moved things on as a professional, seemingly attributing the comment as Christie simply being put on the spot and blurting out the first thing that came to mind.

Harvey turns to the large board behind him to see whether Christie's answer is one of the top answers among those polled the same question, and as she does so Christie, obviously realizing the answer has no hope of being there, starts urging the answer to appear.

The host then jokingly comments to her, "Shut up woman!"

The audience obviously cracked up at Harvey's off the cuff comment, and when the board revealed that no one else polled chose "black" as their answer, the audience cheers.

The other contestant was then asked the same question, to which she answered, "They walk slow."

That answer was on the board and the show quickly moved on.

Fans quickly took to social media sites Facebook and Twitter to criticize Christie, with some labeling her a racist. Others jumped to her defense, saying it was obviously not a racist comment but rather the contestant clearly misspoke after her mind went blank. Some, however, were not buying that, and throughout Wednesday an increasing number of comments about the incident have been finding there way onto social media sites.
