'Fargo' Season 2 as Impressive as First Installation

The preview of "Fargo" season 2 shows a beautiful masterpiece made up of cast members Patrick Wilson, Kirsten Dunst, Ted Danson, Jesse Plemons, Michael Hogan, Nick Offerman, Cristin Milioti, Jean Smart, Brad Garrett, and Jeffrey Donovan. The first installation of the series bagged three Emmy awards, and the second season may be considered a success equal to the former, according to Boston Globe.
The transition from movie to television series clicked very well for "Fargo." Since the viewers already know the title, little effort is needed for its marketing. Series creator Noah Hawley decided to create a unique story around the original 1996 Coen Brothers film, and his concept resulted in a beautiful and broader story.

"Fargo" season 1 presented an alternative perspective on the original movie, while season 2 will show another murder case back in 1979, the report details. "Fargo" season 2 will focus on Wilson's character Lou Solverson, the father of the first season's police chief Molly Solverson (Allison Tolman). In the first season, Solverson was played by Keith Carradine, Philly.com reports.
The anthology concept also works well for "Fargo" because the prequel was designed in such a way that new viewers can still follow the story without knowledge of what happened in season 1. Old viewers are expected to come back and follow season 2 because of how impressive the first one was, the report states.
The second installation of "Fargo" will show Solverson trying to solve the murders of a Fargo judge and a local line cook and waitress. The main suspects are the scion of the Gerhardt clan played by Culkin. The crime family is led by Otto (Hogan) and his wife Floyd (Smart). The reboot will feature a very violent phase in Solveron's life where mob wars are punctuated by humorous quips.
"Fargo" season 2's premiere episode airs on Monday at 10 p.m. on FX.
