'Fargo' Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Peggy, Ed Fight To Stay Alive; What Future Awaits The Couple?

FX's hit crime drama TV series "Fargo" is now ready to kick off the finale for its second season and fans can't wait to find out what will happen after the bloodbath in the penultimate episode.

For those who missed it, "The Castle" revealed what took place during the infamous incident called the "Sioux Falls Massacre." Peggy and Ed Blumquist agreed to work with the authorities to capture one of the Kansas City mafia member, Mike Milligan and his Kitchens boy. Prior to that, Ed told the rather soft-spoken criminal that he got Dodd in his possession. Unbeknownst to Mike, the Gerhardt is already dead, killed by none other than Hanzee.

The latter, whom fans have least expected to explode, has officially turned rogue and is now going up against his employers.

To carry out his plan, the Vietnam War veteran called Floyd to inform her that her son is currently being held captive by the KC mob.

His scheme works as the whole Gerhardt clan and their men rushed down to the Motor Motel.

This occurred while State Police Captain Cheney prepared for the siege to capture Milligan.

Chaos ensued when the armed parties involved began killing each other. Hanzee, on his part, succeeded in killing the Gerhardt matriarch.

Meanwhile, the butcher and the hairdresser managed to knock out the police officer guarding them.

As noted on TVLine, everyone came to a halt when they took notice of a flying saucer hovering above the motel. But Peggy was so concerned with getting out of the sticky situation that she grabbed her dumbstruck husband.

The couple is now once again on the run from the police. Hank prompted Lou to leave the place and go after the Blumquists as more police reinforcements arrive.

Will Ed and Peggy make it out alive from the madness they are in?

Don't miss the thrilling season finale of "Fargo" showing this Monday, Dec. 14 at 10 p.m. on FX.
