Farrah Abraham 'Couples Therapy' Appearance All a Sham, Faux Boyfriend Says
The new season of "Couples Therapy" airs tonight and features former "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham, who is making a solo appearance. The man who claims to have been her boyfriend for the sole purpose of the show has spoken out about his last-minute decision not to appear on the show with Abraham.
"I got myself in this situation because I was only thinking about the profit I would be making from doing this show. That was wrong," Brian Dawe told Starcasm. "In the back of my head, I realized I could not participate in a TV show that would further exploit Farrah, and where I would have to lie to be involved."
Dawe claims to have cared deeply about Abraham and doesn't want her to be hurt by his actions. He believes that Abraham's performance on "Couples Therapy" was a sham merely for the cameras.

"Farrah told me to lie to the network and tell them the relationship was real," Dawe said.
He was fully prepared to go through with it until he was standing in line to board the plane that would take him to the VH1 location. Things suddenly clicked for Dawe and led to his decision to not appear on the show.
"I stepped out of the security line and made a life changing decision to stand up for what I believe in and turn down the check I would be receiving for my appearance on this show. I have not spoken with Farrah since she sent me a text after I did not show up on set saying she wishes me all the best and to take care," Dawe noted.
He notified producers that he would not be making the trek out to California for the show.
Meanwhile, Abraham insists that Dawe purposely set her up and abandoned her. According to her Twitter, she does not wish him all the best.
"[Expletive] loser boyfriends who use me! & can't face the truth!!" Abraham tweeted.
"Couples Therapy" premieres on VH1 tonight at 9:00 p.m. EST.
