In the previous season, Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) and Travis Manawa (Cliff Curtis) led a group of survivors inside a gated property overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Victor Strand, a rich and mysterious character, decided to embark on an ocean escape as the zombies continue to ravage Los Angeles, the report details.

Series co-creator Robert Kirman, however, has indicated that not all of the episodes in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will take place on Victor's boat, the report details.

Meanwhile, Dickens revealed her thoughts on playing the role of Madison in the "Walking Dead" spin-off, The Global Dispatch reports. In an interview with Yahoo!, she said she did not have any reservations in accepting the role. She also said she likes Madison's strong spirit and her flaws as well.

However, Dickens said her knowledge about the future of her character and the series is limited. She said she has no idea what is going to happen to their characters in the second season, the report relays.

Along with Dickens, the series cast will include Curtis, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Frank Dillane, Colman Domingo, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades, and Mercedes Mason.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 is slated to air sometime this year.
