'Finding Dory' Spoilers: Film to Advocate Fish Freedom
Hints about what is in store for the upcoming Pixar film "Finding Dory" were revealed.
Fans are waiting to see the sequel of the hit animated film "Finding Nemo" on the big screen. With that, a video clip was recently released, revealing new toys for the sequel. From the video, several spoilers for the film were shown, leaving fans excited for "Finding Dory."
The promotional video showed Dory with a number tag, which created speculation that the film could follow the theme of fish rehabilitation. It was revealed that the film will challenge the idea of amusement parks such as "Sea World."

According to Yahoo!, Ellen DeGeneres, who will be voicing the character of Dory once again, shared her insight about the film. She said, "I think that fish should be in the ocean," she said. "It's what this whole sequel is about: It's about rehabilitation and putting them back in the ocean... And we have to protect our oceans. Hopefully that discussion starts with this film, because we really need to protect that environment."
With that, fans can expect the film to advocate for the freedom of fishes and their need to be in their natural habitat.
In addition, the video showed Dory stating that she was beginning to remember details about her past, such as who her parents are. With that, DeGeneres also revealed some details about the plot of the film. She said, "Dory is searching for her parents — she realizes [she] has parents — and comes across some characters who are somewhat helpful."
It was stated that several characters, such as Nemo and Marlin, will also be returning to the big screen to help Dory out with her mission. Also, it was revealed that new actors, such as Ty Burrell, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Idris Elba, and Michael Sheen, will be joining to portray new characters.
"Finding Dory" is expected to premiere in theaters this June 17.
