5 alternatives to 'woke' companies
5. PublicSq.
PublicSq., which describes itself as the “largest values-aligned marketplace of pro-America businesses and consumers,” is a mobile application that launched nationwide last year for the purpose of informing consumers about local companies that share their values.
In a statement, PublicSq. CEO and founder Michael Seifert elaborated on the purpose of his company: “For too long, progressive corporations have prioritized highly politicized ideas over the interests and values of the American people. Because of this, we, as patriotic Americans, are hungering for a future where the power is back in the hands of ‘We the People’ and a parallel economy is created.”
“With the PublicSq. platform, we are grateful to provide a solution that helps every day, freedom-loving Americans spend their hard-earned money with businesses that prioritize the values that have made this nation so special in the first place,” he added. PublicSq. has already amassed more than 40,000 businesses on its platform.
PublicSq. also weighed on the Dylan Mulvaney controversy, specifically the influencer’s collaboration with Maybelline. In a tweet posted Friday, PublicSq. declared that “American women are tired of progressive brands choosing ambassadors in ‘woman face’ just to earn a higher virtue-signaling score!”
The company announced that “at PublicSq.com, you can find cosmetic alternatives from brands that value women” in addition to sharing a video of Mulvaney applying Maybelline followed by a woman throwing her Maybelline in the trash and saying, “Bye, Maybelline.” The video concluded with an on-screen message reading, “Ditch cosmetic brands that want to replace you. Find brands that value woman at PublicSq.com.”
Maybe she’s born with it?!??
