'Fresh Off The Boat' Season 2 News: Ken Jeong as Guest Star, Will Play Louis' Brother

A new face will be joining the Huang family in the upcoming episode of "Fresh Off The Boat" season 2.

It was reported that the upcoming episode of "Fresh Off The Boat" season 2 will introduce a new member of the Huang family.

Titled "Bring The Pain," the new episode of the series will introduce Louis' (Randall Park) fraternal twin brother. The synopsis for the episode read, "Louis' estranged brother, Gene (Jeong), comes to visit, and he has big news to share with the family. And Eddie tries to find creative ways to watch the latest Chris Rock age-inappropriate stand-up comedy special despite his parents' and brothers' disapproval."

The role of Louis' brother, Gene, will be played by Ken Jeong. According to Entertainment Weekly, the two will end up in a fight minutes after being reunited. Louis' son, Eddie, who narrated the teaser warned fans that the flight will get really intense. Apparently, Gene will be visiting Louis and Jessica, played by Constance Wu, to personally invite them to his wedding.

Meanwhile, fans of the ABC family are happy to see a crossover of actors in the series. It was stated that another actor from "Fresh Off The Boat" was also seen in Jeong's own tv series "Dr. Ken." It was stated that Evan Huang, who is played by Ian Chen, also played a role in "Dr. Ken" in a previous episode.

Jeong has previously commended the hit ABC show. According to Time, he stated, "Fresh Off The Boat is groundbreaking, and quite frankly if it wasn't for Fresh Off The Boat, Dr. Ken wouldn't be on the air. That show's success really enabled Dr. Ken to have a shot. I love those guys."

The upcoming episode of "Fresh Off the Boat" season 2 titled "Bring The Pain" is expected to air on ABC this May 24.
