Galaxy Nexus Receives Android 4.0.4 on Verizon
Verizon customers who own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus now have the ability to upgrade to Android 4.0.4, the latest build of Google's Android software.
The software update was rumored to start in the beginning of this week, however, it ended up rolling out earlier today instead, according to YouMobile.org.
The official Build Number of the software is IMM76K and anyone who owns a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon should be able to access it through an over-the-air update starting today.

The Galaxy Nexus launched as a Verizon exclusive in December of last year, and became available to Sprint customers earlier this year.
The smartphone was the first in the world to ship with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed.
Samsung will use the same tactics when releasing its next generation Galaxy Nexus smartphone and launch the next-generation Android platform on it pre-installed, according to YouMobile.org.
The two will once again engage in a partnership where they will continue the Nexus line and keep it the exclusive first home of the next-generation Android software.
With the success of the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich-original Galaxy Nexus partnership, it seems that Samsung sees no real reason to change its strategy when releasing the new Nexus smartphone.
The two companies are expected to feature Android 5.0, JellyBean on the device when it is released.
JellyBean is the rumored name for the new Android software, however, Google has not yet confirmed that. The company did give the public some hints when they served jelly beans out of an Android shaped candy dish at a media event earlier this year.
There is also the possibility that the software could make its debut on the device, the same way Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich launched on the original Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November of 2011.
