Galaxy Nexus to Re-Launch Next Week With Android 4.1, JellyBean?
Apple acquired a preliminary injunction on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus last week that allowed the company to ban the sale of the device in the U.S.
In order to ban the device Apple would have to shell out $96 million for a bond and it seemed like Apple had secured a serious victory. Google even stopped offering the smartphone in certain markets.
However, even though sales of the device halted for a few days in Google Play, YouMobile.org is now reporting that the company has confirmed plans to re-launch the smartphone next week with Android 4.1, JellyBean pre-installed.

The device equipped with the new software was originally given out to guests at Google I/O that took place last week. Google introduced Android 4.1, JellyBean at the event and also announced that one of the first devices to receive an OTA update would be the Galaxy Nexus.
JellyBean has received a number of enhancements that improve touch responsiveness and the overall smoothness of animations and the UI. The frame rate has also been accelerated to 60 frames per second.
Google displayed demos of the redesigned widgets in the software that scale intelligently around other UI elements along with a new Predictive Keyboard that takes voice commands.
Android 4.1, also features redesigned notifications that Google has now made fully customizable, expandable, and collapsible.
Google execs also presented a demo during the event that displayed the new notifications expanding to provide more information as they reached the top of the list and how they also can be expanded and collapsed at any time with gestures.
JellyBean will also have an improved voice search that is very similar to Apple's Siri voice recognition assistant system featured on the iPhone 4S.
