This LTE Galaxy Note 10.1 first showed up in the U.S. Federal Communications Commission last month, and older news that leaked pointed to Verizon carrying this device.

The carrier did not reveal any information on pricing or release date.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 was first released back in August and has many of the same features as the original Note.

It also comes with a 1.4GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing shooter.

The Note 10.1 also comes with Smart Stay, a feature that tracks the owner's eye to ensure that the screen is always on while being looked at, and Pop Up Play, that allows the owner to watch a video anywhere on the device's screen while simultaneously performing other tasks.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 has flown under the radar for the most part, being over shadowed by the smaller original version and the Galaxy Note 2.

Samsung started rolling out the Android 4.1, JellyBean update for the phablet in Germany last month.

It can be accessed using Samsung KIES software or OTA (over-the-air) and brings many new capabilities to the device.
