Galaxy S2 Plus Android 4.1, JellyBean Powered Device to Launch in 2 Variants
Samsung will introduce its new Galaxy S2 Plus smartphone in two different variants in the near future; with one set to feature an NFC chip and the other not.
The Samsung GT-I9105 model will not have the chip and the Samsung GT-I9105 will come with NFC.
Rumors recently surfaced stating that Samsung pushed the release of the Galaxy S2 plus back due to the success of the Galaxy S3, but that is all speculation.

The S2 Plus will run Android 4.1.2 and is expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2013. It will be available in two colors including Chic White and Dark Blue and comes with 8GB of internal memory.
Other rumored specifications for the handset include a 4.3-inch display with 480x800 resolution, and a 1GHz dual-core processor.
This is the second 'Plus" variant that Samsung has released in its Galaxy S line. The company also launched the Galaxy S Plus not too long ago.
The Galaxy S2 Android 4.1, JellyBean update will roll out in early 2013, according to announcement made by Samsung.
The software will bring a New TouchWiz UI to the smartphone along with a redesigned keyboard, improved functionality for NFC connections, Google Now integration, and expandable notifications.
Samsung also stated that it will be available for the Galaxy Note at the same time.
The software actually leaked at the end of last month in the form of a new ROM.
This new firmware appeared for installation in XDA-Dev threads and packs some of the latest features now available to those using the official build of JellyBean.
The official firmware is currently in test mode and its build number is I9100XXLSJ. It is expected to be rolled out in the very near future. This new leaked version is said to be pretty close to Samsung's when it finally is released for the Galaxy S2.
The leaked firmware's features include TouchWiz with Direct Call, AllShare Play, notification bar enhancements, S-Cloud, Pop Up Play and Google Now.
