Galaxy S4 Advertisements Appear in New York City's Times Square

Two large advertisements for the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone can now be seen in New York City's Times Square.

Samsung place the ads in the area in a place where they are most visible. Both of the ads read "Be Ready 4 The Next Galaxy" and one features a white background, while the other is black.

The company has not officially announced any information related to the device, but has invited many tech enthusiasts to come meet the next Galaxy smartphone at an event set to take place at Radio City Music Hall on March 13. Samsung has chosen New York City as the place where it will show off its latest flagship handset. The company also unveiled the Galaxy S3 in a major city as the smartphone made its debut at a Mobile "Unpacked" event in London.

The Galaxy S4 will come with a new feature called Eye Scroll, according to a recent report in the New York Times. The publication reported this Wednesday that Samsung filed a trademark in Europe under the name "eye scroll."

An anonymous Samsung employee informed The Times of some details concerning the feature outlining and how it will work. Eye scroll will track the user's eyes to determine where to scroll by following their direction. Users reading articles on their device will not have to use their finger to scroll down.

The source did not reveal the technology that will be used to check eye movements and he did not state if it would be demonstrated at the March 14 Mobile "Unpacked" event, but the insider boasted about the Galaxy S4's new features, saying that they will easily outshine the hardware.

Other rumored specs for the Galaxy S4 include an Exynos Octa-core processor and a 4.99-inch display.
