Galaxy S4 Specs: Device to Come With S Pen?

The Galaxy S4 specs have been kept under wraps for the most part, but a new rumor has surfaced which states that the handset will come with its very own S Pen.

For those unfamiliar with the S Pen, it is a stylus-like accessory found on the Galaxy Note 2 and its predecessor.

This latest rumor comes from a popular Korean site known as Enuri.

The site stated that the Galaxy S4 will be the first handset in the series to feature the S Pen and its accompanying functionality as Samsung hopes to unite its Note series with the Galaxy S4.

The possibility of this happening seems unlikely, but the Enuri claims to have received a confirmation of this information from a Samsung official.

PhoneArena reported that it received more information leaks that point to the Galaxy S4 coming with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display.

The Galaxy S4 will be released sometime in 2013 and could debut as early as next month.

Other rumored specifications for the handset include a quad-core Exynos 5 5440 chipset that has already been discovered in Samsung test logs.

The chip is expected to be unveiled at this year's Mobile World Congress. This processor is rumored to be even more powerful that the one found in the Google Nexus 10 tablet. It will also be made on a 28nm process.

Samsung seems to be pulling out the big guns this time around with the Galaxy S4.

The device will follow up the wildy popular Galaxy S3 which debuted earlier this year. Samsung's flagship device outsold Apple's iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 and many countries throughout the world.

Both companies are neck and neck for smartphone supremacy and it should be interesting to see what Apple cooks up to compete with this Galaxy S4.
