'Game of Thrones' Season 6 News: Jon Snow Alive or Not?
Even though the return of "Game of Thrones" soon approaching, there is still a lot of question regarding the return of Jon Snow.
There was plenty of doubt regarding Jon Snow's fate ever since he was seen laying in a pool of his blood in the finale of "Game of Thrones" Season 5. After months of speculation, there is still no confirmation whether the character will come back to the series alive or dead.
Nevertheless, the actor who plays the role, Kit Harington, will still be present in the upcoming season. However, all signs point to his death, since Harington himself explained that Jon Snow is in fact dead. The synopsis of the upcoming season, which was released by HBO, also hinted the possibility of his death.

It read, "Following the shocking developments at the conclusion of season five, including Jon Snow's bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys' near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei's public humiliation in the streets of King's Landing, survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates."
The statement also teased that the season will show new alliances as many of the characters struggle for survival. Their struggle will be due to a new source of power entering the political domain, threatening all parts of the world.
In addition, information about the premiere episode were also released, confirming the fate of Jon Snow. The synopsis for the first episode of Season 6 titled "The Red Woman," read, "Jon Snow (Kit Harington) is dead. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) meets a strong man. Cersei (Lena Headey) sees her daughter again."
With that, fans can expect to see their favorite characters dealing with new challenges as the season begins. "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will air on HBO this Apr. 24.
