'Game of Thrones' Season 6 News: Stars Share Their Thoughts on Spoilers
With Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" expected to premiere in a couple of weeks, stars of the HBO series shared how they keep themselves from revealing any details about the show.
Even though fans enjoy hearing details about what will happen in "Game of Thrones" Season 6, it seems as though the actors behind the series are busy trying their hardest not to find out anything about the show, in order to keep the excitement alive.
During an interview with IGN, Ian Beattie, who plays the role of Meryn Trant, spoke about a moment when he received a shocking spoiler. He said, "I only ever read my scenes and I remember the last day of Season 4, I'd spent the entire season saying, "I don't want to know what happens next!", and me, Jamie and Joffrey were filming in the King's Guard room. I finish the scene, sitting outside having a cigarette and Charles Dance [Tywin Lannister] walks past and says, "The little bastard [Tyrion] finally killed me!" Biggest spoiler ever…"

On the other hand, John Bradley, who plays the role of Samwell Tarly, shared his experience on revealing some details to some fans. He explained that while some people feel as though they want to know what is going to happen, they really don't. He said, "People don't really want to know. They don't. They say, in a vaguely jovial way, 'Have you got any spoilers?' and you just think, well listen to yourself. Listen to the word you've used. You want me to "spoil" it! If you told them and said, "OK, I'll save you time," not just relating to this, but to any cliffhanger, they'll say [disappointed voice] "Oh… You've ruined it now...""
In addition, George R. R. Martin also shared some news that teased a heartbreaking storyline. During an interview with Publishing News Now, Martin hinted at the death of some major characters such as Arya and Khaleesi. However, these details have yet to be confirmed.
"Game of Thrones" Season 6 premieres on HBO this April 24.
