Garth Brooks Tour Rumors: Details Arriving Thursday at Press Conference
Garth Brooks is holding off on his world tour announcement with an update posted to his website indicating a press conference for Thursday this week.
The country music superstar originally teased a big announcement for Monday, July 7, but the news only pointed to an on-line press conference set for July 10.
"Watch a LIVE STREAM of Garth's press conference at garthbrooks.com," the website reads.

Last week, Brooks posted a cryptic message to his website reading "The wait is over… 7/7." Consequently, the press conference announcement disappointed thousands of fans who are anxiously awaiting news of a rumored three-year world tour. Thursday's press conference will be streamed on his official website starting at 12 p.m. EST.
The possible tour would mark Brooks' first since retiring from music in 2001. The "I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair" retired in order to raise his children, but Brooks did partially come back to play a number of residencies in Las Vegas in 2009. Today, Brooks' children are older, and the singer is said to be planning his first tour in 13 years.
It is also possible that Brooks could be working on a new album. The top-selling solo recording artist of all time has not released a new album with new and original material since 2001's "Scarecrow."
On Twitter, ahead of the press conference, Brooks' fans speculated over the possible tour, including Brandy who wrote, "Garth Brooks is getting a little too good at this man of mystery bit … He'll make a big announcement Thursday."
Meanwhile, five Garth Brooks shows in Dublin, Ireland later this month have already sold out. However, because of neighbor protests over noise, two of the five shows have been canceled – throwing the remaining three shows into jeopardy.
"I can't say for definite that the three shows are definitely going to happen," Peter Aiken, a promote, told the Irish Independent.
