'Gilmore Girls' Reboot Spoilers: Leaked Set Photos Show Rebuilt Stars Hollow, May Indicate Luke And Lorelai Are Not Together
It has been nearly nine years since the last episode of The WB's popular comedy-drama TV series "Gilmore Girls" aired and fans of the cult favorite have been waiting with bated breath for news of the forthcoming Netflix reboot of the beloved series.
Now, thanks to leaked photos from the Warner Brothers lot, fans finally have their first look at the revival and what appears to be the fictional town of Stars Hollow being rebuilt and well on its way to reopening.
Twitter user Clara (@caddyglass) posted the set photos on the last few days of 2015 and the images include Miss Patty's Dance Studio with a fresh coat of paint and the inside of Kim's Antique Shop.

Another photo posted to the Facebook fan page Gilmore Girls Forever shows a production note in one of the sets. The note, which says "Lizzy's and Luke's house," have sent "Gilmore Girls" fans into a speculation frenzy. While Luke (Scott Patterson) does have a sister named Liz (Kathleen Wilhoite), could it also be that he has gone and married a woman named Lizzy? If so, why are he and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) no longer a couple?
The love story of Luke and Lorelai followed the TV romance standard arc of "will they or won't they?" for a while before the two eventually got back together and sealed the deal with a romantic kiss in the rain during the final episode of the final season.
What has happened to the couple since then?
As there has been no official announcements regarding the "Gilmore Girls" reboot storyline, fans will need to do a bit more waiting before they learn about the fate of Luke and Lorelai's relationship.
The "Gilmore Girls" limited series Netflix reboot was confirmed in October 2015 and will consist of four hour-and-a-half episodes.
