Girl Wears Bikini to Find Missing Dog, Attracts Stalker Instead

A girl who donned a bikini in a desperate bid to find her Chihuahua may have attracted a stalker. Arlene Corona, from San Diego, had held up a sign wearing a bikini and pumps at an intersection for three days.

However, on Friday she received an email from a man who called himself Merl, according to NBC. "He was telling me it was really late, I can't speak on the phone right now [but] my daughter has your dog and I'm so sorry my daughter has just been so afraid to return it,” Corona said.

However, Corona said the man wanted sexual favors for help in returning the dog. Merl had sent her a picture of a Chihuahua with a picture of his genitals. "I was like oh my god this is so scary, I was like shaking, and I was like maybe he really does have my dog, or maybe he's just a creep,” Corona said.

She ignored the man after realizing that the Chihuahua on the picture was not her dog. Later she received a text message who claimed a neighbor was beating her dog. When she called the number, the voicemail turned out to be the same person who identified himself as Merl.
