Gold Xbox Live News: Chinese Users Angry Due To Limited Content

After Microsoft's release of its Gold Xbox Live services, users from China voiced their complaints regarding the limited content available.

It was revealed that compared to other countries, Gold Xbox Live users from China did not have as much content available. The reason for this was the strict censorship laws of the country, making it hard to provide China the same amount of content as the other countries.

As reported by  BBC, a regular membership of the Gold Xbox Live service includes an online multiplayer option along with free games and discounts. However, the online games have yet to be approved by the Chinese governmen,t which means that they have not yet been released in China.

However, the free trial given to the Chinese users is expected to expire soon and many are upset with the lack of content presented during their free trial of the services. In addition, the delays have left Chinese users severely disappointed with the company.

Meanwhile, users from the other countries will have the opportunity to try out new titles which will be released soon and Microsoft is expected to bring on a new roster of titles that will be available on the Gold Xbox Live.

It was stated that "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" and "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" are two of the titles that users will have the benefit of experiencing. The most recent game available on the Gold Xbox Live were "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments." Along with that, the company hinted that there would be a new addition to the list of games on the Official Xbox twitter account. A tweet was posted that read, "Next Up: April blockbuster."

It was stated that the titles released will be available on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 devices, and users can expect to play more titles as they release in the months to come. However, some of the titles will also be dropped by the end of the month, though there has yet to be any news regarding which ones will be dropped.
